SIZING + PLACEMENT GUIDE
A bedroom rug should extend 18"-24" beyond the edge of the bed. To test rug size before buying, mark out the space around your bed with painter's tape on the floor.
Queen Size Beds
5' x 8'
Place your rug horizontally under the front two-thirds of the bed, leaving some floor exposed.
8' x 10'
Keep things cozy by centering the rug horizontally under the bed and nightstands.
9' x 12'
In a large room, a 9' x 12' rug is generous enough to accommodate a bench at the end of the bed.
King Size Beds
3' x 5'
Best for a narrow space, flank your bed with small runners to create a soft landing pad for feet.
